Self-Love and the Mommy Makeover: My Journey

“Whatever self-love looks like for you, honor it and embrace it—because you deserve it.”

After having kids, I wanted to get back to feeling like myself. I kick-started my journey with a GLP-1 and knew that I wanted to get a mommy makeover about a year after having Beau.

If a mommy makeover is something you want to do, do it for yourself! The downtime wasn’t as bad as I was expecting, and I experienced little to no pain.

Self-love is important, and it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. Do what makes you happy. I feel like myself again, and that’s what truly matters!

Self-love is not just about appearance; it’s about embracing who you are and prioritizing your well-being. When we take care of ourselves, whether physically, mentally, or emotionally, we are better equipped to take care of others. Loving yourself means recognizing your worth, setting boundaries, and making choices that align with your happiness and confidence.

Choosing to undergo a mommy makeover was a step in my self-love journey, but it’s different for everyone. It might be taking time for yourself, prioritizing health, or simply affirming your value every day. Whatever self-love looks like for you, honor it and embrace it—because you deserve it.
