How to Style an Entryway Console Table

Creating a stylish entryway console table in your home can be a great way to add a warm and inviting touch to your space. Not only are they stylish, but entryway console tables can be functional too! In today’s blog post, I’m going to walk you through exactly how to style an entryway console table.

First things first, you have to start with your base - your console table! Make sure to choose a table that aligns with the style of your home. A great way to do this is to ensure that your console table ties in with at least one other wood tone in your space.

Here are a few of our favorite console tables!

Add a Mirror

Next, center a round mirror above your console table. A mirror is a great way to add light and perceived depth in an entry space! Besides, who doesn’t appreciate a mirror to check themselves in as they’re running out the door?

Add a Lamp

Once your mirror is in place, add a medium-sized table lamp to add visual height. I love this simple, white ceramic lamp from Target! If you need inspiration for lamps & lighting, the Mood board Edesign package could be a perfect start, learn more here

Add Greenery with Height

To create a balance in height on the opposite side of your lamp, add a large vase with greenery or a faux plant. I love a vase of fresh flowers in the springtime or faux olive branches in the winter!

Add Decorative Accessories

Now that you have the foundational pieces, it’s time to add in additional decorative accessories. I love to include a decorative bowl with a beaded garland for added style. You can even use this bowl as a collection place for keys and knick-knacks!

Another favorite decorative element you’ll see us use frequently in our designs is a decorative book and a candle. This adds even more visual dimension, texture, and of course, a delicious smell that hits your guests right as they enter your home! See new ideas LTK shop here

Add Storage

Last but not least, add two symmetrical storage baskets below to round out the look and add more functional storage. These bins are great for throwing shoes in when guests come to visit, additional blanket storage, or as a “catch-all” bin for random toys and things that you need to tidy up quickly!

When it comes to styling your entryway console table, there are countless options and possibilities! But, I hope this helps get you started.
